Centrifugal Slurry Pump
The centrifugal slurry pump sends abrasive liquid-solid mixtures through the casing by impeller rotation. It is used on mine transfer, coal washing, ash removal and sediment return lines. The wet end can use high chromium alloy or rubber lining according to the solid load. PN mud-pump information allows suitable models to handle 50-60% solids by weight. The impeller gap can be adjusted after liner wear, so operators can recover useful flow without changing the whole pump body at once.
