Sewage Sludge Pump

Sewage Sludge Pump

The sewage sludge pump is made for mud water, sewage, slurry, and thick liquid with sand or soft solids. Before model selection, flow, head, outlet size, power, particle size, and solid content should be checked. Some sludge work can reach about 50-60% solids by weight, so the pump passage and wet parts need careful choice. It is often used in mine drainage, construction pits, filter press feeding, wastewater plants, paper mills, and dirty water transfer on temporary sites. It is not a clean water pump. It is chosen when the liquid is heavy, rough, or easy to block a normal pump.

Product Introduction

The sewage sludge pump has a casing, impeller, shaft, bearing parts, seal parts, and motor drive. The impeller and liner should have enough wear strength for sand and mud. Some pump types allow the gap around the impeller to be adjusted after wear, so the pump can keep useful flow for longer.

On site, the inlet should not be buried in hard mud. Check seal water, bolts, cable, heat, and vibration often. If flow drops fast, stop and check the line.

sewage sludge pump parts can include casing, impeller, shaft, liner, seal parts, coupling, motor, base, cable, and control cabinet. Spare wet parts need clear marks for later checking.

Product Advantages

Wet parts can be matched to sand, mud, fibre, or chemical conditions.

Adjustable clearance on some models helps keep efficiency after wear.

Large passage choices reduce blocking when the liquid has small solids.

The structure is easy for site workers to open, check, and repair.

Main Applications

1. Mine slurry, sand water, and construction mud pit transfer.

2. Municipal sewage, plant wastewater, and sludge tank drainage.

3. Filter press feeding and thick slurry movement before pressing.

4. Paper mill pulp, ash water, and mixed liquid with small solids.

FAQ

Q: Can it handle thick sludge?

A: Yes. The sewage sludge pump can be selected for thick sludge or slurry, but solids content, particle size, and flow must be checked first.

Q: What details are needed before model selection?

A: Flow, head, medium, solids content, particle size, temperature, outlet size, power condition, and installation type are needed.

Q: How should it be checked during use?

A: Check seal water, bolts, cable, vibration, bearing heat, and inlet condition. If the flow drops fast, stop and check the pipeline and impeller area.
